I’m looking to build my own workout room in my house and trying not to take up too much space. That being said I have looked at Body Craft Galena Pro and like the fact that it can be put in a corner but it doesn’t have a bench press. All I want to do is get in shape, like what I see in the mirror better. But I think I can get a more comprehensive workout with a Bowflex. Also, doesn’t a home gym promote proper form and stuff? Be honest, should I just buy some free weights and a bench?

I used to have free weights but they are too bulky and I was never able to push the limits because I never had anyone to spot me. I know you cant get the same work out from a machine as you can from free weights but it is the same principal; instead of gravity and a weight providing resistance a machine can simulate the same kind of resistance. I love going to the gym, but due to my first newborn I barely have time to hit the gym. Do anyone know which machine is the best workout equipment (i.e bowflex or should i get seperate dumbell and a flat bench machine). Please advise.

i saw on the tv that you can buy a bowflex for as low as 15 dollars a month

And is it like paying for cable or netflex where they charge you every month ?
