Ive been latley thinking about joining a gym, which could end up costing around – a month but have a near empty garage at home, and have seen some cheap second hand weight benches and home gyms. any ideas on which is worth it more?? i cant decide.

I heard bowflex is good for keeping you toned and getting the "ripped" look but it’s not good for making more muscles beyond that point.
Are all home gyms like that or is it just bowflex?

We just recently purchased a Spirit XE150 Elliptical and are in the market to purchase a home gym for muscle toning. It was easier to get great reviews for the elliptical. I was able to get reviews from both customers and people that service or fix the machines, but home gyms are a little tricky.
